Ecostick 1816B is a water-based adhesive with the highest strength performance. It is designed for permanent bonding of leather and a wide range of materials, including eco-leather, fabrics, covers, cardboard, PVC, EVA, nylon, and ready-made rubbers. It is ideal for stitch-free applications and dries 100% clear without yellowing over time. 1816B will not stiffen the leather and is odorless.
Ecostick 1816B is engineered for greasy leather and effectively bonds materials with up to 15% grease content.
Application Instructions
- Apply ECOSTICK 1816B on both surfaces and let it dry.
- Join both sides within 30 min. after drying and press firmly.
- If the time exceeds 30 minutes, reactivate by heating at 140-158°F (60-70°C) before coupling and pressing.
- For less absorbent materials, apply a generous amount and couple immediately.
- When bonding leather to textiles, moltoprene, or foam rubber, 1816B can be applied on one side only.
Open Time:
- Cold bonding - up to 30 min. after the adhesive is dried. Reactivation by heating - within 48 hours.
